Both series share the same sizing method and load envelope. The difference is the casing construction — and what it means over a decade in service:

Functionally they share the same load and travel envelope and the same sizing service. The difference is the casing: the standard series uses a conventional welded casing at a lower price point, while the premium series uses a seamless press-formed casing with no welds near the spring — specified where long-term load accuracy on critical lines justifies it.
